At Millhanger Farmhouse, Wave Developments delivered a comprehensive internal and external works package, demonstrating both technical expertise and exceptional attention to detail. Internally, the team carried out high-performance insulation and screed works, followed by a full render and set to all internal masonry walls. This involved applying a sand and cement render, finished with a smooth plaster skim, to create a robust and refined surface throughout. Ceilings were completed using a combination of systems, including metal ceilings and coffered ceilings in key areas such as the bathrooms, bedrooms, and family room, along with tack ceilings for a clean, modern finish. Walls were dry lined using the dot and dab method, then plastered with a high-quality skim to achieve a flawless appearance. Externally, Wave Developments applied a traditional lime render using the three-coat system, resulting in a breathable, natural finish that is both durable and sympathetic to the building’s historic character.
